Roasted Brussel Sprouts – Naturally Gluten Free

Just a quick posting today to share one of my favorite treats! I never would have thought I would say this but I love Brussel Sprouts!  I eat them like popcorn …

1 bag of Brussel Sprouts
Olive Oil
Sea Salt
Black Pepper

Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.  Wash the Brussel Sprouts then put them in a bowl and drizzle Olive Oil on them so they are nicely coated.  Approximately 2 – 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil.  Sprinkle Sea Salt and Black Pepper on them and toss in the bowl.

Put some foil on a baking pan and dump the bowl onto the foil, on the baking pan.  This really makes clean up easy.  Spread the Brussel Sprouts out evenly.  Put them into the oven for 15 minutes.  Take them out and turn them over and put them back in for another 15 minutes or until they get slightly dark and caramelized.  Take them out and put them in a bowl to eat with a meal, maybe Thanksgiving or as a snack.  I add a little bit more of Sea Salt. Black Pepper and a drizzle of Balsamic Vinegar.

Cheers to Cisco Morris!  I know how much you love Brussel Sprouts too!

Can you imagine if movie theaters started to serve Roasted Brussel Sprouts instead of popcorn as a healthy alternative?  I can dream … yum!

Enjoy!
